Self Storage

Remember, this is a community effort. It is a part of gun culture to help each other out.

A few options to help us find the best storage solution for friends and loved ones who are both seasoned and new to being around firearms.

We are not advocating to turn these into laws.

“Secure the Action”

All it takes to disable a rifle is to remove a 2-4inch firing pin from the bolt assembly, and often times this can be done with a little know-how.

  • Non-serialized “critical components” are not regulated parts.

  • Smaller parts are easier to store.

  • A firearm component is safer to store in a house with young children.

  • Disassembly and assembly may require some knowledge.

Complete Firearm Storage

Storing a complete firearm requires a greater commitment, but is easier to keep track of the entire firearm.

  • For those who are comfortable storing a complete firearm.

  • Easy to keep track of valuable property.

  • Could be preferable for fellow gun-owners already with good storage solutions.

  • Picture your loved ones.

Put a photo of loved ones next to your firearm... It's a reminder of who we have to live for.

  • Celebrate the gift of loved ones.

Go to the shooting range with a loved one or a trusted friend. Enjoy some time together!

  • Holding onto trust.

Give a trusted friend the key to a locked firearm, so you can talk to someone. Upon crisis, you’ll always have someone to talk to .
